Dear George Funk and the entire team,

I am praying and hopeful that this email finds you well.

I am sharing the updates on behalf of brother Tom Opondo who is currently in the village and would not be able to use internet services where he is. Tom is being accompanied and supported by Elder Joseph and paulino plus evangelists on this trip.

It is with great joy to report to you that we are able to conduct crusade and mass prayers at two locations between yesterday and today. We had 73 precious souls turned to God by baptism at Chelkou Church of Christ in Aweil West County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State - Aweil, South Sudan. May His name be praised!

The team camped there from yesterday midday till today midday.

The team have moved to a different location this afternoon where they had open air crusade/preaching and Jesus Film will be played over night and we are hopeful that more souls will be touched by the Good News and that lives will be changed for eternity.

Tomorrow noon will be another day at our mission base in Malek-Alel in Aweil South County where students studying at Aweil Bible School will be part of the team and we are expecting great news there too, pictures will be shared with you all.

The South Sudan African Mission (SSAM) team is delighted to partner with Gospel Chariot Missions at different capacities and we are praying that this comes to great fruition in the near future. We have just since the beginning of the activities of our partnership.

I have to leave Aweil to Juba and I am expecting brother Dimpo to jet in in the next few hours/day so that I may travel with him back to the field for the facilitation of four field discipleship multiplication training at our office in Aweil. Let me know the details in his flight/booking itinerary.
