KENYA GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS has ongoing mission at Dindiri Church of Christ in Kilifi County is focused on advancing the gospel through various activities, centered around evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. Here is a summary of the key efforts taking place at the Kenya’s coast:
Evangelism:
- Preaching and Teaching: The mission team is actively sharing the message of Christ with the local community. Daily sermons are delivered to encourage both believers and non-believers to understand the love of God and the path to salvation through Jesus.
- Outreach Programs: The Gospel Chariot Missions truck plays a pivotal role in mobilizing outreach activities, making the gospel accessible to many in surrounding villages.
- Prayers for Outreach: Prayer sessions are held frequently to intercede for the mission's success, the softening of hearts, and the spread of God's Word in the coastal region.
Discipleship:
- 4 Fields Disciple Making: This approach is being used to equip new believers with tools for spiritual growth, training them to become disciple-makers themselves. The team conducts Bible study sessions and encourages group discussions to solidify their understanding of scripture.
- Follow-up Discipleship: Local leaders are being trained to ensure ongoing discipleship beyond the current mission, fostering a culture of continuous spiritual growth and mentoring in the church.
Leadership:
- Church Planting: A key focus of the mission is to plant churches in areas where there is a growing Christian presence. The team is identifying areas around Dindiri where new congregations can be established.
- End of Year Leadership Seminars: Preparations are underway for leadership seminars that will be conducted to strengthen the leaders in Dindiri and surrounding areas. These seminars will equip church leaders with strategies for sustainable church growth and effective ministry.
Next Destinations:
- Kavingu (Eastern Kenya): Once the mission at Dindiri is complete, the Gospel Chariot will head to Kavingu, where similar efforts of evangelism and discipleship will continue.
- Magadi Soda (Kajiado County): After Kavingu, the mission will move to the Maasai region in Magadi Soda, where the focus will remain on spreading the gospel, church planting, and leadership development.
This mission requires continued prayers for spiritual breakthrough, effective leadership, and the multiplication of disciples as we move forward in bringing the good news of Christ to different parts of Kenya.
