UGANDA WITH LOST SOULS IN MIND. GOSPEL CHARIOT/SHARE MISSIONS AT LORENGECORA CHURCH OF CHRIST.

Brother Duncan shares the following:

By the grace of God we begin the year convening key leaders and other church members for a strategic workshop focused on how to enhance fruitful and intentional discovery bible study in our youth churches in Karamoja sub-region.

The workshop and gospel campaign was very successful and fruitful. Church leaders pledged again to be very intentional in ensuring that churches learn the Bible through methods of discovery Bible study, with intentional discipleship.

We all agreed that this method of reading and retelling Bible stories several times and guiding the discovery of lessons learned in the particular biblical text is the BEST approach for most members of our church who cannot read or write.

The evangelist team also pledged to start other new small groups this year in several villages where churches have not been planted.

Our workshop and campaign ended with the baptism of eight ( new converts.

Maximillah Ojiambo had a wonderful class with women on how women can help men in church activities, evangelism and teaching Sunday school children.

Geoffrey and Duncan focused on the men's class discussion and the discovery of 1 Peter 5:2-3. We emphasize that all church leaders should be like shepherds of God's flock and work voluntarily. Leaders discovered some areas where they haven't done well and feel refreshed to get back to working seriously for the Lord.
