Simon and Patrick have reported the following from the mission field in Lamwo District, just 6 KM awa from South Sudan and Uganda border.
So many questions about us. Why red red red, why baptizing in a truck, why this and that. Good questions, right attitude and excellent answers given. After answering all their questions, helping them.to understand that the color RED is brand color which also reminds us of the BLOOD of our Lord Jesus Christ, poured out for for the remission of our sins; warm welcome was accorded to us by the entire Pabwoc community.
Pabwoc Church of christ in Lamwo District is being ministered by Tabu Eden, he is a young and so passionate about God's work. He has fallen in love with 4 Fields and GCM.
We arrived here on Sunday 19th of February 2023 evening. It is abit a long way from Aromo Lira District where we were working, and it's also hoter in terms of weather.
On Monday we put up the tent and got started with the program. On Tuesday to Saturday we got on with entering the harvest field in the morning, training in the afternoon and open air in the evening. The community is receptive. The simples tools is the only way to go since they easily break the ice. Few words and hi! you are straight to the point. The trainees kept on saying "oh indeed they are Simple, Biblical and Reproducible" even old women are able to share the gospel using the tools. Thank you for the 4 Fields carriculum.
However, we were hit by shocking news, the neighbour to the place where we put the tent lost a child and we had to stop our programs on Thursday so that we grieve with the berieved family. After the funeral, we continued with the open air preaching in the evening and 3 people got baptized that day.
The Gospel has been preached and the community has got its package, 60 people were trained, a good number of families have been reached with the Gospel, the Gospel has been shared to over 300 people through open air and movies like passion of Christ. They are few during the day and very many during the evening. The seminar and outreach ended with 14 baptisms, and the leaders here Tabu Eden and Okello Ambrose Bob are left with the work of watering. Thank you Gospel Chariot and Gospel share missions.
Amen Brother Duncan and a Great Team. This is really great and exciting seeing many souls won to Christ. Keep up for Jesus for the Harvest is still plentiful and unfortunately the Labour are many doing no work. Thus they need these Simple tools to train the saved and win the lost. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
