Amen Brother Duncan reported the following:
Kabushwere church of Christ has been with us for the past three days. I gladly report the blessed work that has been done in this place.
We were hosted by Kabushwere community and Livingstone II grade school which is also a project of Churches of Christ in Western Region, specifically NTCC Mbarara.
New Testament Churches of Christ Mbarara are hosting guests and elders from their supporting congregation in the USA- First Colony Church of Christ and it has been of great honor for GCM/GSM to work in partnership with them in preaching the gospel in Western Uganda. The guests actively participated in the training and witnessed the BIG harvest of the 13 souls through baptism.
The community also responded very well, We trained over 60 people how to use their Relational Maps to bring their families & friends to Christ and how to us 3 Circles to share Jesus's story- the Gospel with the lost or those far from God.
The exposition of Matthew 28:18-20 was owesome and we believe the seed has been planted in many hearts including the parents of the children going through this grade school. The simplicity of the tools and how they brings the point home easily amazed everyone.
In Summary, 13 people repented, confessed Christ as Savior and got baptized immediately, over 60 people were trained how to use some of the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication tools and over 500 people heard the gospel through the open air preaching and door knocking efforts.
We are now moving to a new location where we shall be doing the same for the next 4 days. This region is hosting NTCC ANNUAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE. We are grateful that we are invited to participate. Keep this work in prayers.
