Brother Patrick and Simon have reported the following regarding the mission work at Acankado Church of Christ. By God's grace and on the invitation from brother Bob we arrived here on Saturday evening and on Sunday February 5th we attended a worship service at Acankado Church of Christ, the attendance was very good about 60 people. The church welcomed us warmly and after the service we pinched the tent at the venue where we are conducting the gospel campaign and 4 Fields Training.
On Sunday evening participants in the Training were 80 people adults and many children and we introduced the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication. Later on the open air preaching was done by brother Billy, and lastly on that Sunday we showed Bible films to the people"Way to heaven".
On Monday, we begun our program very early in the morning by going into the Harvest. We invaded the community doing door- door evengelism where we divided ourselves into five groups and we managed to reach out to 30 households. The efforts were not in vain, we harvested one soul, he has already received baptism.
We came back from the field at around 2pm to prepare for the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Training and open air preaching in the evening.
Brother Bagoole and Simon were the trainers and the preaching was done by brother Bob and Joshua respectively. Again we showed the bible films.
Then Tuesday 7th, we also started with door to door evengelism with five groups of three people in each group and we got a good experience and reception by where many people promised to come to attend the training, and as well come to the Lord's Church for Sunday services at Acankado Church of Christ.
The brothers at this congregation are doing a great job, we have no doubts that God will bless this church and community. Please keep us in prayers as we continue with the Lord's work here until Sunday.
