UGANDA GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS OUTREACH AND 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AT OKIDOI CHURCH OF CHRIST
We thank God , Brother Duncan had reported the following:
Simon Maanda has reported the following from Okidoi- Teso Region.
I am pleased to provide a report on our visit to Okidoi Church of Christ here in Soroti. The church, still a baby, has shown great promise and hospitality.
Upon arrival on Thursday afternoon, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Odongo and his family, who displayed genuine excitement for the Chariot and the gospel. Mr. Odongo's humility and simplicity leaves a lasting impression, created a welcoming atmosphere for our training .
The opening discoveryBible study and subsequent open-air preaching set a positive tone for our visit. The dedication and enthusiasm of the members, particularly Mr. Odongo, have contributed to the church's vibrancy. It is a church worshiping under a mango tree shade and it is where we trained, and conducted Bible studies from.
The training sessions and Bible studies focused on nurturing the growth of the church. We consistently used the sword method system effectively in cultivating disciples, fostering their involvement, and encouraging participation in discovering what they learn about God, Man, whether there is a command to obey or an example to learn from.
While, there were no baptisms but the turnout for the service has been notably encouraging. It is evident that the congregation is eager to learn, and there is a consensus that further teaching will precede future baptisms. Atleast one or two members from this church should visit our campus for a full training about the church such that this church is helped.
However, Okidoi Church of Christ is already a commendable church with great potential. The commitment of Mr. Odongo and the members, combined with the emphasis on teaching and growth, bodes well for the future success and expansion of this church. We extend our gratitude to God for the enriching experience during this trip. Not forgetting Gospel chariot and Share Mission for the support. To the Okidoi community Eyalama noi noi (thank you very much).
Amen and Praise God Simon and the Team. Keep it up brethren spreading across your regions like wildfire Training the Saved and winning the lost to Christ and being added to the church. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
