Rain is a blessing, it kicks off the season and in the end people get what to eat and also what to sell to meet other basic needs. The rain season has affected the programs here in Teso region particularly in our three days stay here in Odapaujo community, but we can't complain. It has made it almost impossible for us to get into the harvest field since everybody is spending the whole day in the field. It rains in the morning, once it stops everybody runs to put something into the ground in their gardens.Thank you God for the rain, our people shall have what to eat.
Odapaujo is a newly church plant, that has just been established in Kumi District by our L3 Trainers in this Region under the leadership of Obwana Stephen. We have been here from 20th to 22rd of March 2023.
We thank God for the work being done by the saints here in Teso. It is another 3/3rds church. However, in this place, it is the best time to train the 5Parts/4Fields overview with the wonderful passage from Mark 4:26-29. Both adults and children are understanding since it is what is happening at the moment, people are either waiting for seeds to come out or they are clearing the fields. They are seeing themselves in the picture and also discovering how the gospel is taken. The petience part is got well since some are also waiting in other parts of their fields. It is such a wonderful time to train.
People join us in the evening which leaves a short time for training. However, we have used the time sparingly, many tools have been trained with an emphasis on the Relational Map so that the guys in the fields can be reached even in our absence.
The personal story (15 sec Testimony) has been trained, the three circles/Jesus' story and exposition of Mark 1:17, Matthew 28:18-20 and John 15:7 all during the introduction of 4fields training.
Atleast 40 people have been trained, and the Gospel has been shared by more than 80 people through open air and the movie time.
The seminar has ended with 5 baptisms. Thank Gospel Chariot and Gospel share missions family.
Amen Brother Simon and Godfrey. Praise God for the 5 new souls won to Christ! This is indeed great and exciting news in heaven and the church on earth. Keep it up brethren in and out of season (cf. 2 Tim. 4:2). You are always on fire brethren. Thank You Lord for using You and thank you all involved .
