Gospel Mission in Lokupoi preaching point: A Light in the Darkness

To God be the glory! Like a swarm of bees, we poured into the community of Lokupoi, bringing the gospel with us and parking our Gospel Chariot in their trading center. The primary business in this area is alcohol selling, and shockingly, many prefer it to water.

From February 3rd to 4th, 2025, we embarked on an intense door-knocking mission, storming the manyattas (homesteads) with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We were blessed to have Duncan, our Country Director, and his wife, Maximillah, join us in this outreach. Our days were filled with movie screenings, open-air preaching, and engaging discussions with the locals.

As we shared the message of Jesus Christ, religious debates arose, with many trying to draw us into discussions about different faiths. However, we stood firm, speaking only about the Bible and Jesus Christ. The truth reached many hearts, with about 500 people hearing the gospel. Yet, fear held many back from responding—some were discouraged by community pressure, while others were stopped by their religious leaders.

But amidst the resistance, one young lady boldly stepped forward. Despite opposition, she made a firm decision to obey the gospel and was baptized. Her unwavering faith was a testament to God’s power, and we pray for her strength as she walks this new journey with Christ. Another woman came in the morning and the mission ended with two baptisms.

Lokupoi has received the gospel, and with continuous follow-up, many more will come to believe and obey Jesus' commands. We are deeply grateful for the warm reception from this community and for the support of Gospel Chariot and Share Missions.

Let us keep Lokupoi in our prayers—may the seeds planted here bear abundant fruit.

Wow! Very wonderful and exciting seeing you brethren reaching out into your villages, amen and praise God - keep it up for Jesus ! Thanks You Lord and thank you all involved .
