Brother John Patrick and Godfrey are infiltrating the villages of Bunyoro Region with the gospel campaign efforts using the Gospel Chariot.
From April 16th- 21st they worked at Kikona C.O.C . The congregation and the community welcomed them gladly. The team embarked on the mission that had taken them.
During there four-day missions outreach, they employed the SWORD method of Discovery Bible Study. We are fully convinced that ALL CHURCHES AND BELIEVERS desperately need Sword Method Discovery Bible Study. Discipleship is very low among our brethren. Over 200 people who attend the meeting were very active and impressed by the method which they termed as simple and participatory.
As our mission intentions are to activate believers to become evangelist and Disciple Makers; We studied Mark 16:15-18, exploring the significance of the Gospel sharing.
The community responded positively, and four (4) people accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Many others were able to master the art of Discovery Bible study. Some made commitments to change their perceptions about evangelism and Bible study. To many these two spiritual activities were meant to be done by evangelists and preachers not all believers.
Conclusion
Our time at Kikona C.O.C was marked by a positive reception of the Gospel. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and share the Gospel with the community. Thank you Gospel Chariot/ Share Missions for your continued dedication to support this mighty missions outreach efforts.
