Simon, Patrick and Francis have reported the following from Mutukula District Western Uganda.

It is another great time of learning and experiencing new things in Kabonera community. It has been Kabonera church of christ being fired up by the Gospel.

It is the first time we faced direct confrontation from a Christian denomination, it has always been Muslims but now it is a Christian denomination. Can you imagine! talking to people who belong to their church group one needs to seek permission from the "prophet" . If found in any home of their member, it is a fight. The so called "prophet" acted weirdly by following us to every home we entered for Evangelism, in one of the homes one of our group members witnessed a woman being kicked by this "prophet" for allowing the preachers in her home. He is not her husband, not a father or brother or any close relative but a "prophet" is it biblical? Of course no but people will still follow. Do people belong to a prophet? Of course not, we all belong to God. Well, this is not our work but God's, because it is for him, we didn't fight but he Christ fought for us.

It has been abit hard during door knocking, we did what God allowed us to do but through open air with the help of our well equipped advancing public address system, over 300 people in the community heard the Gospel, at least 1 soul has been baptized and we give the glory back to God. We plan to come back to this place the coming year. Thank you Gospel Chariot and Gospel share mission.
