Brother Bagoole John Patrick and team have reported the following from the mission field.
We arrived at Nakyaka c.o.c. on 01/08/2023; we were warmly received by this new and young congregation in Kamuli District.
This congregation was planted by brother Maanda Wilson, his Mukago Radio ministry attracts listeners from all over. One is them was a lady in this village who kept on calling to appreciate Wilson for the good teachings during the Radio talk show.
Wilson as he does always, intentionally made follow up on this lady by visiting her village for more Bible study. On his first trip he used 4 Fields tools, Sword Method discovery Bible Study to be specific. This model helped the lady and her husband gain more deeper understanding of God's. They asked him to schedule another visit soon, they were going to gather their neighbors and relatives to come for this indepth Bible study. Wilson made plans and visited them the following week, he found a group of twenty people gathered eagerly waiting to learn from the Bible. He led them through 4 Fields overview using Mark 4:26-29, then He did Relational Map and ended with Sword method discovery Bible Study.
This group, declared them a church after this 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Training. They started gathering twice a week to study Bible and to worship the living God.
The Gospel Chariot crew came here to do more evangelism and training. They have trained 20 people and 11 have given their lives to Christ through baptism.
Over one hundred people attended evening/night tent preaching and teaching. The Gospel seed have been spread and we are trusting God of the harvest for huge harvest.
Baptism in the truck received some resistance by some local self proclaimed pastors. They tried to discourage believers not to accept to be baptized in the truck. But by God's grace, we had taught Baptism Hammer and people had understood what baptism is all about.
