What another blessing in the refugee camp. How does it look like restoring hope to people who are far away from their countries and families, and they don't know what will happen tomorrow in their home country, not sure of peace where they are and also not certain of those next to them and their imtentions. The locals are worried just as the refugees. Well! What should I say!
It is another blessing to teach in diversity, standing to talk but unsure of the language to use. Sometime you may need to have two or three translators for the message to reach to a mass.
The place is Nakivale refugee camp, and the zone is Kabahinda D, that's means there is A, B, C and others. This camp is in Isingiro District Western Uganda. Guess what! we have the Rwands, Burundians, and Congolese and also the Ugandans (Banyankole), and English is not here all that much.
The church is Kabahinda D church of christ and the church minister is a Burundian. Going from house to house was amazing, we had to preach also at the shores of the lake, the open air was amazing, and the movies proclaiming the Kingdom were right at the point. Appreciation goes to Good News Production Uganda for blessing us with various translations of Jesus' movie.
Yes! the camp was on fire for three days and about 1000 people received the Gospel.
The sword method was sharp to the extent of cutting a number and they have been baptized. Yes 23 have been baptized in much water in lake Nakivale immediately.
