To God be the glory!
Despite an initial setback of being denied access to preach in the refugee camp due to leadership changes, we did not hesitate to move forward with God's mission. We relocated to Kabonera, where we have camped for three days with the Gospel Chariot, proclaiming the Word of God to this precious trading center. Our faithful God has made His presence known, allowing us to carry out an open-air campaign and show films that call people into the Kingdom of God.
Although the turnout has been lower than expected, we trust that the Word of God reached people in their homes and businesses. His Word never returns void. For our Bible studies, we used the local church building, gathering some church leaders and community members for deeper engagement.
However, Kabonera faces a significant challenge—false prophecy is leading many people astray. We believe that using the sword method to read and understand the Bible will help bring these people back to the one true Creator. Through the sword method, participants learned about God, man, and the commands and examples to follow. Those who attended were truly amazed by the simplicity and depth of this method. They expressed their eagerness to teach others, ensuring the knowledge would continue to spread.
Over 20 people actively participated in our Bible study class, and we give all the glory back to God for this breakthrough. Though our numbers were small, the impact was profound, and we believe seeds have been planted for a future harvest.
We humbly thank God for His faithfulness and look forward to seeing the fruit of these efforts in Kabonera. We continue to pray for the growth and revival of this community as the truth of God's Word takes root.
