Hello fellow servants of God, receive calvary greetings from leaders in Mbale MISSION Center.
By God's grace Wilson and I have had quality time in Mbale at Messiah Theological Institute training the 10 key Church leaders on how to use 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication simple tools to enhance their Discipleship method.
Among our churches here in Uganda, Mbale Mission was the first to adopt Discovery Bible Study method and they have passionately used this method and trained many of our mission centers. Mbale mission is very serious about Discipleship.
As it's said, " learning is a continuous process and it doesn't end". When sister Peace from Mbale attended our 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Training in May 2022 at our GCM-UGANDA campus. As a mature leader she humbly admitted that there are some tools in 4 Fields curriculum that they don't have in their Discipleship curriculum. She really thought they need then to enhance their DBS curriculum. She promised to talk to her fellow leaders about the possibility of inviting our team to train them.
Sister Peace is very passionate about Discipleship, and this concept of 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication has just triggered her the more. Her team of leaders agreed unanimously that 4 Fields needs to be incorporated into their curriculum. They promised to begin practicing the tools with the families and congregations. The tools were very challenging and provoking according to them. Brutal Facts made everyone admit that, if keep doing what we have been doing for over 40 years, the Multiplication will not happen and churches will never grow. We have done it and the success story is not very exciting. We have many churches that are not Health Churches, many church attendees who are not disciples that make other Disciples, many leaders who don't want to develop and multiply other leaders.
The plans are underway for a bigger and intensive training for many key leaders. This Mission has oversight on over 200 churches spread all over Uganda and some in Kenya and South Sudan.
