Simon Maanda has reported the following.

To God be the Glory!

After a long-standing desire to visit South Sudan, I’m thrilled to share that God has made it possible! On the 15th of April 2025, I began my journey alongside Kayongo Daniel L3 trainer and former worker with Reaching Mankind for Christ (RMC) as a radio presenter and a teacher. Our mission was to spend Easter in South Sudan, with a key goal of conducting a discipleship program at RMC Academy in Nimule.

By God’s grace, we arrived to find the students still in school, preparing for their holiday break. This provided a perfect opportunity to engage them in a Bible study using the Sword Method. The response was incredible—over 70 students, along with some staff members, actively participated. Through this method, they explored Scripture deeply, discovering what it says about God, mankind, the commands to obey, and examples to follow. Their “I Will” statements were powerful and full of commitment to live transformed lives.

Our study was based on Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission, which also serves as the foundation of RMC’s mission. Many students were inspired to serve God more passionately, change their personal ways, and become ambassadors of peace.

One particularly touching moment was learning that raising two fingers is a local symbol for peace in South Sudan. As a unified act of hope and solidarity, we all raised our fingers to declare that peace is needed in this land—a land that longs for stability. We know God delights in peace, and as His children, we are called to be people of peace.

We thank God for His protection, love, and journey mercies throughout this mission. Truly, all glory belongs to Him!

Wow! This is great and encouraging. Amen and praise God , keep it up for Jesus . Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
