Report of the Nigeria 4Fields Discipleship Training

Reported by Brother Biodun.

Bro. Chidi Chibuma reports as follows:

The ongoing 4Fields Discipleship Training at the hospital has continued to create a transformative atmosphere within the hospital community. This training, centered on biblical discipleship principles, has engaged participants in deep scriptural analysis and practical evangelism methods. A key highlight of the training was the application of the Jesus story in 3 Circles and the Baptism Hammer, which resulted in one baptism Sis Helen Ikeanyionwu—a testament to the spiritual impact of the training.

Analysis of the Jesus Story in 3 Circles and Baptism Hammer

During the training, participants explored the Jesus story through the 3 Circles method, a powerful evangelistic tool that explains the Gospel in a simple, relatable way. This method effectively illustrated humanity's brokenness, God's redemptive plan through Christ, and the path to restoration. Additionally, the Baptism Hammer was used to emphasize the significance of baptism as a response to faith in Jesus Christ. The clarity and conviction brought by these teachings led to a participant’s decision to publicly declare their faith through baptism.

Transformative Impact on the Hospital Community

The training has sparked a renewed sense of spiritual growth and commitment among both hospital staff and patients. Several key transformations have been observed:

Increased Spiritual Engagement: More individuals are actively participating in discussions, prayers, and scripture sharing.

Stronger Fellowship: A sense of unity and encouragement has developed among believers, fostering a supportive community.

Growing Interest in Discipleship: Participants are expressing eagerness to learn more and to share their faith with others.

Enhanced and Ethical Climate: Hospital staff report an improved atmosphere of compassion, patience, and service, aligning with the teachings of Christ.

The ongoing 4Fields Discipleship Training continues to bear fruit within the hospital community. The recent baptism serves as a tangible sign of spiritual awakening, and the overall atmosphere reflects a growing hunger for discipleship and transformation. As the training progresses, it is expected that more lives will be touched, leading to a lasting impact on the hospital's spiritual and ethical environment. The commitment to making disciples and spreading the Gospel remains strong, promising further positive outcomes in the days ahead.

We covet your prayers as we round off the first phase.
