NIGERIA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING REPORT

The report on the training held at the Church of Christ, Ayage, Bekwarra, Cross River State is here presented.
In furtherance of the effort to train disciples who will make disciples that multiply, Chidi Chibunna, Festus Okwo and I (Mike Udam), conducted a three day training for church leaders in Bekwarra who met at Ayage spanning from 18th to 20th of January 2024.
The comprehensive Overview of the training and the Exposition of Matthew 28:18-20, using the Sword Method exposed the Participants to the relatively new concept of true discipleship and a better understanding of the passage. The Brutal Facts handled by Mike Udam, being a preacher around Northern Cross River humbled them and opened their eyes to realise the number of “lostness” in the area. The unfolding of each tool made the participants fully realise the depth of their emptiness in spreading the gospel and the simple tools that will help them succeed with ease.
The training was a fruitful exercise as we trained 45 participants, comprising members, preachers, and 3 visitors. To the glory of God, a soul Paul Adie was baptised after the deployment of the Relational Map, the 15 Seconds Testimony, Jesus' Story in 3 Circles, Baptism Hammer, and Church Health Circle.
The members were humbled as they realised the simplified nature of the 4 Fields method of making disciples who multiply. They gave their "I will" statements with the promise to go forth and make disciples who make other disciples, continue the good work, use the training to change their lives, and lead souls to Christ, to the glory of God.
Worthy of note is that the leaders agreed that we conduct a second training in another location to also open the eyes of those not captured in this training.
Historically, Ayage Congregation is a few month old and this is their first major outing.
The fire is on. Team Cross River is ready to take the training to other parts of the State.
