NEW CHURCH PLANT AS A RESULT OF THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING IN UGANDA

Hope you have had a good Worship day.

Today April 18th 2021 a new Church of Christ congratulation has been officially declared. Maximillah, Dione, Eliud, Geoffrey Oguttu and myself joined this congregation for this historic and memorable worship service.

Towards the end of last year, GCM through uncle George Funk funded Youths 4 Fields Seminars around Busoga Region, Uganda- East Africa. The youth regional leadership traversed the region training youths in different Churches of Christ clusters.

After the seminar in Luuka District which was hosted by Bugabula Church of Christ, the youths identified a person of peace by the name of Nabirye Scovia in another village. Scovia is a window struggling to raise her children.

Scovia opened up her home for these messengers of God (Youths from Bugabula Church of Christ under the leadership of Magambo Charles). These youths begun using the 4 Fields tools such as 3 circles, Relational Map, 4.1.1 and 3/3s.

11 people have been baptized between December 2020 to-date. The youths continue to meet for 3/3s every week on Sundays. This congregation located in Bugabula Buganda Village has 11 baptized members who have been baptized by our team of youths and 7 members who were baptized sometime back.

Our mission is to ensure this congregation remains with a 4.1.1DNA (Disciples who make other Disciples).

The biggest challenge is what to sit on (chairs) and shelter in case it rains. Today the wind kept on blowing and throwing down our temporary tent haha. But I believe one day, this will be history.
