KENYA GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS OUTREACH
KENYA GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS OUTREACH
Reported by Brother Tom.
We are grateful to the Lord for the ongoing work in Chabera, where a strong partnership among Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University Christian students, Gospel Chariot Missions Kenya and Chabera Worship Center is making a significant impact. This mission focuses on reaching the lost in the community through evangelism, discipleship, and reconciliation. On Day 4, we witnessed God’s hand at work, strengthening our resolve to serve Him faithfully.
Program Activities for Day 4
1. 4 Fields Disciple Multiplication Training (Morning):
• The morning began with focused training sessions on the 4 Fields Disciple Making tools, equipping believers to share the Gospel effectively, disciple new converts, and nurture multiplying disciples.
• Participants expressed their eagerness to implement these strategies in their local communities and beyond.
2. Door Knocking and Home Visits (Midday):
• Teams of missionaries, university students, and local believers visited nearly 140 households in Chabera.
• These visits allowed personal interactions where the Gospel was shared, prayers were offered, and relationships were built.
• Many homes experienced spiritual breakthroughs, with individuals reconciling not only with God but also with family members.
3. Open-Air Preaching and Worship (Afternoon):
• The afternoon was marked by vibrant open-air meetings, where the Word of God was proclaimed boldly. Worship sessions included heartfelt singing, testimonies, and an invitation to receive Christ.
• Crowds from the community gathered to hear the message, with several people responding to the call for salvation.
4. Daily Missions Report (Evening):
• The day concluded with a review session, where teams shared testimonies of God’s work in the field.
• This time of reflection encouraged everyone to remain committed to the mission and allowed us to thank God for the lives touched and the hearts transformed.
Impact Highlights:
• Households Visited: Nearly 140 homes were reached with the Gospel and prayers.
• Reconciliation: A significant number of individuals reconciled with God and their families, bringing healing and restoration to homes.
• Community Response: The Chabera community has been increasingly receptive to the message of hope, with many expressing interest in learning more about Christ.
Challenges and Prayer Requests:
• Pray for sustained energy and zeal for the mission team as the week progresses.
• Pray for those who have heard the Gospel, that the seeds planted will grow and bear fruit.
• Pray for the continued unity and collaboration among the mission partners.
Conclusion:
Day 4 of the Chabera mission has been a testimony to God’s faithfulness. Lives are being transformed, families are being reconciled, and the community is witnessing the power of the Gospel. We give thanks to the Lord for this opportunity to serve and look forward to more fruit in the remaining days of the mission.
