KENYA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION NEW CHURCH PLANT

Brother Tom had reported the following:

Kenya Gospel Share Missions celebrates a new church plant at Oyugis Town (Kawaindi estate). This is our Baby Church with 4 families as the members. We are grateful to the Lord God Almighty for enabling us plant a church in the urban setting.

The church has been planted today, and the attendance was 17 people. This number includes children. I pray the Lord continually brings His people near Him, and may all of us multiply the Lord’s Mission in this place. The church is established in residential compound. As we move into the future may God give us Hope.

Our Baby Church is called Tumaini Church of Christ. Tumaini is Swahili word for Hope. I pray that those who come to worship with us will meet their Hope. We are grateful to Nyang’iela Church of Christ that helped us in planning, praying, and supporting the idea of extending God’s mission to Oyugi’s town. It’s rare to plant a church from village to urban center but we thank God for making it possible.

Today’s service was as follows: Stephen Chiaga - programmer; Naaman Otieno - Offering; and Tom Opondo - Sermon. The key message today was “Hope Awaits For You”.

Tumaini Church of Christ will join the regional churches in Oyugis West as Number 10. Tumaini (Hope) Church of Christ is our new baby in the region, and we call on individual Christians and congregations to publicly lift our Baby Church in prayers to the Lord.
