GHANA TOGO MISSIONS WITH THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING TEAMS REPORT

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
”They preached the gospel in that city and won a large number of disciples” (Acts 14:21a, NIV).
There’s such a great joy when disciples obey the command of their Master and just GO…
There’s even that sense of fulfillment when disciples know where they are going and Tools they’re going to work with.
Brother Doc Turk, the leader arrived in mid September with the first team and visited with some preachers and Bible Colleges. As the other team arrived, churches planted years back in the Dambai and Kete Krachi areas were visited. Simultaneously, a team of Ghana and Togo disciples were dispatched to Togo to also visit some of the churches planted there earlier. While another team of tutors dispatched to Bazua, near Bawku, to train the students of the Bible College there. These visits ended up 37 baptisms and 3 new congregations planted in the Dambai-Kete Krachi areas of Ghana. While the Togo one had 241 baptisms with 2 new congregations planted.
The main work that concentrated in the Nanumba North District commenced on Monday, September 25, with the 5 American missionaries, 7 Ghanaian preachers (with 2 more joining later) and a host of local disciples we had earlier trained, specifically for this job.
From September 25 to October 04, there were 2 days of no field work - we used one day to visit the Bible College in Tamale and another for Brother Turk to share the idea of ‘Make, Mature and Multiply’ with the area preachers. So for the 8 days on the field near Yendi and Tatale, God used His servants to preach to about 6,100 people, He convicted 1,817 who were baptized in the area and 36 new congregations established.
In total, we preached to about 7,200 people, baptized 2,095 and planted 41 new congregations by the grace of God.
We are so excited to play just a small part of what God is doing to expand His kingdom. Keep praying for us because we begun training these new believers to live their lives as disciples of Christ. We’re going to intensify that work as our American brethren depart.
