GHANA TOGO MISSIONS WITH THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING TEAMS REPORT

A BIBLE COLLEGE IN BAZUA BASED ON THE 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TOOLS
As our work in Ghana and Togo bring thousands to Christ annually, we group them into churches and the mature disciples Train the new believers for the work to continue to expand. Obviously, one thing lacking in this cycle is Trained Preachers to continue working with these disciples in a congregational setting.
Partnerships are great in every endeavor. The World Bible Institute (WBI) has partnered us to have four Bible Colleges in Togo. We started one of such Bible Colleges at Bazua, near Bawku in the Upper East Region of Ghana with 22 Students. We are blessed to have another partner - Thornton Memorial Foundation, whose school - Bazua Christian Academy serves as the Campus for this college. Unfortunately, due to the war in Bawku, many have deserted the area and relocated to safer places. The 22 students we started with are now left with 14. Buses use other routes to avoid Bawku, yet the danger is still there as a Bus was attacked this afternoon at Pusiga, near Bawku and 9 people were killed.
In spite of the danger, four Tutors in the persons of, Charles Nii Odoi, Solomon Antwi Mireku, and Eric Degraft Otoo of the Accra Team, as well as Desire Amenyo Gbedivloh of the Volta Team have traveled there to spend 2 weeks teaching and encouraging them to continue using the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication tools for church planting.
It’s a great joy to report that within the one year of Training, the students have Baptized over 70 and we’re still encouraging them to try and use the tools to establish a healthy church that establishes other churches.
We still need your prayers for our safety and that of the students and their families please. We so much need this Civil War in the area to end for peace to prevail in the area to enhance development and spread of the Gospel.
