VERY ACTIVE WEEK OF MULTIPLE TRAININGS
THE GOSPEL CHARIOT TEAM
The Ghana Gospel Chariot Team is still at the Agona Nyakrom area, planning to round-up their Campaign in the Central Region and join the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Team in response to a Macedonian call in Sunyani, before they go to the Hohoe area. They have reported 5 Baptisms in the past week.
THE GAMBIA
The 3/3s Teams in Gambia are still on in 2 of the congregations. Brother Sang Pierre Mendy is currently in the Central congregation, Training the entire membership of that congregation.
GUINEA BISSAU
The 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication is gradually making strides in the country. Brother Abdou Sidibeh has reported one more Baptism in the past week.
TOGO
Brother George Akpabli is in Lome, the capital of Togo, Training some preachers and church leaders there. He’s being assisted by his dear Wife, the Mother of the Team.
MAURITANIA
You know we can’t show you pictures of this one. But all we want to say is that, let’s keep thanking God for the progress of the work in that country and continue to pray for the Team there.
TRAINING VIA ZOOM
The various Trainings via Zoom are still ongoing. We did the one with the leaders of the Ghanaian congregations in the United States, and with the Edmonton church in London, both on Sunday. We also had the Trainer of Trainers one yesterday to keep equipping ourselves as a Team. The turn out last night was however low because most of the Trainers are on the field in various places at the moment.
ENCOURAGEMENT TOUR IN THE UPPER EAST REGION OF GHANA
Our work in Bazua gave us the opportunity to visit some key leaders and areas in the Upper East Region last week.
Baaba Elijah is that fired up Level 2 Trainer who went about Teaching people with the Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles and Baptizing people everywhere. He has since established 3 congregations. Two in Tamale area and one in Bolga. He has presently accepted the challenge to preach for a congregation at the verge of dying, at Agatuse, just to revive it. We prayed with him, shared ideas with him and encouraged him in other ways as well. He has since reported 3 Baptisms at a village near Bolga, just after our visit.
Paul Laar is another Level 2 Trainer, working at the Garu area and assisting the northern Togo work in a tremendous way. He has established 3 more congregations after receiving the Training, and together with Joseph Molsak of Bawku, they’re greatly helping the churches in the Dapaong area of northern Togo . We prayed with him, shared ideas and encouraged him in other ways too. He has since Baptized the Teacher in charge of the village school that everyone looks up to. That’s great news.
ASUNAFO AREA
Brother Ebenezer Anane is with his Team in the Asunafo area, Training in the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication and using the Community Broadcast system to preach the Gospel in the morning and evening.
BROTHER EMMANUEL HOOPER
This Brother is our Trainer in the Sunyani area, who also travels to parts of the Western Region for the same purpose. Though he’s lost his Mother, he’s using every opportunity to use the Tools. He reported 2 Baptisms last night after using Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles.
BROTHER PRINCE NTOW
Though he has traveled back to the States after he came to Ghana to bury his Mother, the seed he sowed is still harvesting. He called me last week to facilitate the Baptism of one of his nephews. This came to fruition as Dominic Ntow was Baptized by the campus minister of the KNUST church.
NEW RISING TEAM IN ACCRA
I had rushed down to Accra to pick materials and head to the Western North Region of Ghana , after we received a Macedonian call. This is going to be our first Training in that part of the country. I therefore had to leave Solomon and Philip up north and travel down.
I worshipped with the Achimota Mile 7 congregation on Sunday because, I heard that a group of preachers we Trained in Accra had formed a 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Team and they were Training in that congregation. Since Brother Boamah, one of our key Trainers and a preacher of the Central Bronx congregation in New York, was around, we visited the congregation together to observe the Training.
We ended up joining in the Training, since the quality of the Training we observed was too low. I have therefore picked the leader of that Team, Brother Edward Boakye along, so we can Mentor him along as we travel to Sefwi Debiso in the Western North Region this morning.
Please pray for the Teams and our families, pray for the newly Baptized and the emerging leaders in the various places.
We had 13 known Baptisms in the past week by the grace of God.
Thank God for all who are involved and the continuous expansion of the Kingdom through the collective effort of the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication across the globe .
