The Ghana Gospel Chariot Team brings the Campaign in Koforidua to an end this evening with only 5 Baptisms. It’s the lowest Baptisms recorded in any area for a month of campaign. This may be attributed to the Rains that disallowed House to House Evangelism during the day, and the calling off of the Campaign in most of the evenings for the same reason.
Going forward, Campaigns in June should be reconsidered because it’s the month of Heavy Rainfall in Ghana.
CHURCH PLANTING AT DENDO IN SOGAKOPE
After the 1st West African Workshop in Sogakope to Train Trainers on Brutalizing the Brutal Facts, and bringing the 3/3s Method to fruition, those who attended from Sogakope didn’t just feel bad about the lostness in the area. They have moved a step forward with a One Week Medical Outreach for Church Planting.
They chose the Dendo Community, which is off the Sogakope - Ho Road. With the help of Brother John Morkli and the Team from Dzodze Ghana Mission Clinic, and under the sponsorship of Brothers Keith Johnson of the WBI and Jerry, also from the USA.
The 7 days Outreach saw 34 Souls giving their lives to Jesus Christ. I arrived there on Thursday and left on Friday, just to encourage and give moral support.
The method used was just simple. After a patient goes through Diagnosis and Treatment with Medication from the Medics, he/she would go to any of the Preachers/Counselors who would take them individually through the Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles. And guess what? Many of them chose to be Baptized by the grace of God. When we say we have amazing Tools that makes it easier to make Disciples who make other Disciples, we know we have a tried, tested and effective model.
The Dendo church has since begun, meeting in the Living Room of someone’s uncompleted House.
Your prayers for the sustenance of this new congregation is needed. Please pray also for the Old Young Man, Godson Gakpetor of the Sogakope congregation. He’s well advanced in years but very strong in making disciples who make other disciples.
OTHER TRAININGS AND BAPTISMS
In another development, Brother Ebenezer Anane has reported of the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Training at the Asutifi North District in the Brong Ahafo Region. After Training Brother Ebenezer, he has been so active in Training others and planting churches in the area and beyond.
The Nyamba Congregation in Brikaama in The Gambia is at it again. Through their 3/3s Training, they have added Brother Mendy to the kingdom through Baptism.
How can I end without mentioning Brother Prince Ntow? His traveling to Ghana to burry his mother has been a blessing in disguise. There’s no week without him studying with and Baptizing someone. He’s reported 2 Baptisms this week too. Those he baptized earlier are bringing their relatives too. Let’s thank God for what He’s doing through him and others.
Thank God for all who are involved and the continuous expansion of the Ghana work that has also overwhelmed other countries.
