GHANA AND WEST AFRICA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TEAMS WITH THE GHANA - TOGO MISSION
Amen , Brother Charles has reported the following.
By the grace of God the Ghana - Togo Mission Team, led by Brother Doc Turk arrived in Togo in the afternoon yesterday with a 5 Member Team.
Our aim was to get to Dapaong, the northern most part of Togo, where we established 12 congregations in 2 and half days in February this year. For your information, the congregations in Dapaong have since increased to 16, and the 259 we Baptized within those 2 and half days have almost tripled. The 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication model truly works!
Since it was already past 2:00pm already at the airport, and the missing luggage still not showing up, and since Lome to Dapaong would take us about 12 hours, we took a 4 hour drive to Atakpame to pass the night.
As we set off this morning, we stopped over at Sotoubuoa after 3 hours drive. We entered the town in 3 groups to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After about a period of an hour, God had added 22 new believers to the Kingdom for a church to start at Pouda, in Sotoubuoa. God is amazing and the 4 Fields Discipleship Tools - especially, Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles, is just irresistible!
Do pray for these new believers as they grow into disciples who make other disciples for Christ.
There are 5 Ghanaian preachers, 2 Togolese counterparts and 3 drivers on this trip. 4 others are going to join us here as we worship with and encourage these new congregations.
We have since arrived in Dapaong to rest our bodies so we can meet with the saints and work afterwards tomorrow, God willing.
It’s been an interesting journey but not without challenges. Two out of the three vehicles we’re using broke down on the way separately. We know the devil will keep throwing these at us to either slow us down or try to discourage our efforts. We’re however unperturbed, knowing the power of the God who’s on our side.
