GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AND INTO THE HARVEST IN THE BAWKU AREA, OUR SECOND STOP IN THE UPPER EAST REGION OF GHANA (January 6-9, 2022)

GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AND INTO THE HARVEST IN THE BAWKU AREA, OUR SECOND STOP IN THE UPPER EAST REGION OF GHANA (January 6-9, 2022)

Amen, Charles Odoi has reported the following from Ghana.

Bawku is the farthest east of the Upper East, bordering Ghana, Togo and Burkina Faso. The Bawku Central church has an average attendance of 60, depicting how the smaller churches around look like.

We held the Training at the Bazua Christian Academy, a church of Christ school at Bazua in the Binduri District. Brother James Fokuo is one of the deacons of Bomso Church of Christ in Kumasi and the caretaker of the place. He was kind enough to allow us to use the place for the Training.

Expecting 96 participants from 16 congregations, we had an average attendance of 70 from 11 congregations, being:

Bawku Central

Azumsapelga

Bazua

Kaadi

Kpingkpanyoung

Kuka

Poyamire

Zebilla

Agatuse

Naaseegou in Togo

Lama Kara in Togo.

We had an interesting 4 Fields Training and lots of Practice among the participants after Group Three Thirds Discussions. We had 3 denominational pastors joining on the last day, one with his wife.

The Trainers: Charles Odoi, Solomon Mireku and Joseph Anaba, together with our host, Joseph Molsak and some of the nearby preachers, Paul Laar of Garu Kpingkpanyoung and Jacob Nyinchema of Kuka, traveled to Gagbiri to solve a problem.

The young church there had died because, a son of the Person of Peace of the area fell sick and later died, without any of the churches and preachers around responding to her numerous calls for help.

Efforts were already in place to revive the congregation with the help of Brother Charles Odoi and Sisters Abigail Nortey and Leticia Boadu of Osu. Our meeting with the chief of the community and the bereaved family was productive by the grace of God.

We divided ourselves as a Team and visit some of the congregations and worshipped with them on Sunday morning, January 9, 2022.

Brother Joseph visited Bazua, Brother Solomon and his Wife Elizabeth, visited Bawku Central, while Brother Charles and his Wife Joana, traveled one and half hours to Gagbiri.

The Lord blessed the Gagbiri congregation as we restored some fallen brethren and the Lord added 7 new souls to expand His kingdom.

It has been a very tiring trip due to the unfriendly weather, yet very fulfilling and productive.

Thanks to all involved and those who supported in various ways. Amen Charles. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
