GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING

GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING

*DAY 2 of Training in Koforidua*

Amen, Charles Odoi has reported the following

Koforidua is the capital city of the Eastern Region of Ghana, connecting many other areas like Akosombo-Somanya area, Suhum-Asamankese area, Osiem Begoro area, just to mention a few. It was therefore strategic working here, hoping for lots of linkages after this Training.

The Team arrived here on Wednesday, March 30, after traveling through a heavy downpour on the road from Accra. Charles, Solomon and Job Tilabi traveled this time around for the Training.

We started on Thursday, March 31. As usual, the participants arrived late on the first day. We started the Training at 10:00am instead of the usual 8:00am or 9:00am we normally start. There were 25 participants from 12 congregations in attendance. We ended the Training at 2:00pm.

We started day 2 by asking the participants what their ‘take-home’ was the previous day. To our amazement, the people had learned a lot and they were excited to realize that the Master required them to be Disciples instead of merely calling themselves Christians. Others mentioned God’s Vision, while others mentioned Brutal Facts as well as Relational Map.

In fact, their response and enthusiasm were so infectious that we quickly joined in their excitement. We entered the 4 Fields and continued the Training until we had Practicalized the Three Thirds Discipleship. Their attendance rose to 28.

During the Mutual Time (Gather) Session, many of them thanked God for the Tools they had received and how that was going to impact their local evangelistic efforts. Most of them had planned local evangelism during the Easter Break, and mentioned that God had just boosted their moral because of the wonderful Tools they had received that’s going to give them great impact in the work.

We’re hoping to see a greater attendance tomorrow, being the last day, and since it’s a Saturday and many leaders who couldn’t make it because they were at the workplace can now be able to attend.

Thank God for all who are involved and your continuous prayers and encouragement too.

Amen Charles. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
