GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION GOSPEL CHARIOT CAMPAIGN TEAMS
GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION GOSPEL CHARIOT CAMPAIGN TEAMS
Amen, Charles Odoi has reported the following
The 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication Team left Adjamesu, in the Bekwai District of the Ashanti Region with great joy after 3 Days of Training. There were 7 Preachers from 9 congregations and an average of 40 participants for the 3 days Training. The Trainers were Charles Odoi, Solomon Mireku, Paul Ntem-Maanoh and Lawrence Lamptey whom we took along to mentor on the road. We also went with Kevin Samuel Cobbinah as the Driver. Kevin is a leading Sign Language Interpreter with the Odorkor congregation. We took him along purposely to prepare him to reach out to the Deaf and Dumb Community with the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication model.
We set off from Accra on Sunday afternoon after church service. The 5 to 6 hours journey turned to almost 8 hours because of a heavy downpour we met on the way. By God’s grace we arrived safely before 9:00pm, and the preacher of the Adjamesu church, Brother Alex Agyenim Boateng, welcomed us and ushered us into our hotel.
Day 1 of the Training had 36 participants in attendance. Day 2 had 42, while the final day recorded 45, all including we the 5 visitors from Accra.
After taking them through the various Tools, the participants were so excited that, they didn’t ask any questions on the first 2 days. They only kept saying they had wasted time in the past trying to preach without much result because they have realized they didn’t do it right. After much encouragement, we told them that, now that they have received these Tools, they cannot afford to hide it, since that would be worse than before. When they were asked for their “Take-home,” majority of them mentioned the Relational Map, with a few mentioning the Exposition on Matthew 28:18-20, My Story and Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles. Two of them were also excited with the Baptism Hammer.
We helped them create a WhatsApp Group to use for continuous learning and a source of guidance and encouragement from us. What made our joy complete was that, before we left, some of them had already selected their members they were going to Train back home and created Groups with them. Also, the participants were in a meeting to decide which days they were going to meet to practice the Three Thirds Method as Trainers of Trainers. We took a Group Photograph with them and encouraged them to go and make Disciples who will make other Disciples for the Master. We arrived safely last night by God’s grace.
*THE GOSPEL CHARIOT*
In another development, the Gospel Chariot Team is still in the Kwahu Ridge and the Lord keeps blessing their work with Baptisms as they work from one village to another. The 4 Fields Discipleship Training they had before the evening Campaigns began, did produce 2 Baptisms. The joy in all of these is that, the mother of one of the 4 Fields Discipleship Trainers in the area, Brother Samuel Dankyi Adjapong also got Baptized. He couldn’t hide his great joy when reporting to us.
They have so far worked in:
Hweehwee
Pepease
Abeitifi
Aduamoa
Obo
among others. And the total Baptisms so far is 20.
Please let’s keep them in our prayers as they continue tirelessly working in those areas for the LORD.
Thank God for all who are involved and the continuous expansion of the Ghana work that has also overwhelmed other countries.
Amen Charles. There is just so much happening because of the Ghanaian discipleship movement. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
