GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING TEAMS

The Ghana Teams keep expanding as the New Gospel Share Missions Truck embarks on its 1st Training Trip to Sunyani (March 21-24).

The Ghana Team Trained in Sunyani, in November, 2021. We identified 2 potential Trainers and invited them to the African Conference in December, 2021. Only one of them (Emmanuel Hooper) was able to attend. After that, Brother Hopper has started 2 different congregations, using the 4 Fields Discipleship Model.

Based on his efforts, we agreed to visit Sunyani the second time, so Brother Hooper joins us as a Trainer and also to equip him to Train more Trainers.

In all, 18 Preachers and Leaders from 10 congregations participanted. While many first timers have been fired up to go and apply the Tools, the few who are having it the second time have expressed better understanding and the resolve to go and Disciple their congregations and Train others to be Disciples Makers. Most of them were excited about the Jesus’ Story in 3 Circles. Others loved the need to be a Disciple and others were excited about the Church Health Circle.

We have also created WhatsApp Group with them as a medium to encourage them to do more and for further Training.

The Trainers were Charles, Solomon, Paul and Emmanuel Hooper, who’s from the area.

On the other hand, the Volta Team did Training for the new congregations in Dapaong, while the other Team in Accra, led by Dr. George Akpabli, also did a 2-Day Training for some Preachers and Leaders at Afiamang. He was assisted by Brother Job Tilabi.

The Accra Training is aimed at raising more Trainers to ease some of the burden on Charles and Solomon.

Thank God for all those involved in these Trainings and the expansion of the 4 Fields Discipleship Trainers in Ghana and beyond.
