FOUR FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AT MAKOLI CHURCH OF CHRIST IN ZAMBIA

FOUR FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AT MAKOLI CHURCH OF CHRIST IN ZAMBIA

It is with great joy that I report to you the successful 4-Fields Discipleship training we had on May 28th and 29th, 2022 at Makoli Church of Christ here in Zambia. I thank God for making this training unique in its way.

It is always an honor and a rare privilege to be part of God's mission. God is at work here in Zambia and at Makoli Church of Christ. Teddy Kaingu and I taught and switched roles during the training. I was impressed with our new Timothy. He was of great help in this training; he connected us to the brethren of Makoli Church. Adas Mungala is our new Timothy, with whom I was training for the first time. We thank God for this overwhelming attendance. About 71 people attended. On the first day, though attendance was not good, the numbers kept growing.

It was humbling to hear participants say, "This is so amazing and exciting,” another one said, “I want to go out and make disciples,” another said, “I have repented, now I want to go and make disciples.” Generally, the brethren in Makoli enjoyed and appreciated all the tools covered. We did the big vision and tool numbers 1 to 5. As we were winding up the training, they asked us, "When do you intend to come back to teach us the remaining tools?" Before we could respond, the leaders suggested that they first put resources together and then set a date for training on the remaining tools. They assured us that, this time, they intend to invite all the surrounding villages to attend the second training.

It was a great time sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the 4-Fields Discipleship MultiplicationTraining. First, my thanks and praises go to God for making this training a success. Second, I thank brother George Funk and the Gospel Chariot/Gospel Share Missions team. Third, I want to thank the congregation of Makoli Church of Christ for the warm welcome and hospitality. I also want to thank my dear brothers Teddy Kaingu and Adas Mungala.

Last but not least, please pray for the work in our region to grow; as we make disciples who make disciples and plant churches that plant churches throughout Zambia.

Always, to God be the glory and honor, lots of blessings to you all.
