DIMPO MOTIMELE’S TRIP TO KENYA
DIMPO MOTIMELE’S TRIP TO KENYA
Dimpo reported the following
Am back home, Kenya was great and I got to experience what Tom Opondo does. It's quite overwhelming and we together on how he needs to maximize that by reporting.
1.Kakuma refugee camp is a mission field on its own. Dunia and the rest of the team of there needs to be commended for what they do. Their Church is representative of the demographic of the camp. Congolese and Sudanese. Mostly young people who escape conflicts in their countries .
Their situation is tough and harsh but their faith is something to marvel.
2. We proceeded to Lodwar 2 hours out of the refugee camp there is a Bible School which we visited, they have planted a number of churches and they bring the leaders for a week long study at their campus every month. Tom connected with them from his days at Nairobi Great Commission School. We shared with the leaders about 4 Fields and they were impressed they want it so plans are afoot to have training.
3.Nairobi, we had a meeting with two key Sudanese leaders one Dr John Mawet and Paolino Malou Bol from Aweil in South Sudan.
Dr John is a fine young man who runs a mission clinic and assist at the Bible School, while Paolino is a graduate of Nairobi Bible School.
We planned for us to bring the 4 Field to their country . They have 150 preachers they want us to train in February 2022.
4. In Nairobi we were present at the graduations of the Bible School on Saturday was so much impressed by the reception of us. They even got us to participate in the program for the day.
We met a number of people and even some who ran orphanages and where beneficiaries of Gospel Care efforts.
Amen Dimpo. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved especially Tom Opondo for receiving Dimpo.
