KENYA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION WEEKLY UPDATE: GCM KAKUMA REFUGEE CAMP & KALOBEYEI REFUGEE SETTLEMENT

Dunia has reported the following from Kenya

Regardless of our circumstances or social status, our heavenly Father, God, offers us fantastic possibilities to contribute to the great commission of Jesus Christ through the gospel chariot and gospel share missions.

Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Refugee Settlement conducted the following thirty-four (34) major activities between October 9, 2023, and October 15, 2023: fifteen (15) worship services; seven (7) discipleship multiplication training sessions (three (3) online and five (4) face-to-face sessions). We made connections with brothers and sisters from Germany and the Democratic Republic of the Congo during our online training sessions. There are also five (5) children's classes, four (4) prayer sessions, and two (2) fellowship services.

Furthermore, we conducted a baptism of 143 new Christians from our fifteen (15) congregations. The creator God connected them to us through different activities such as 4 Fields discipleship multiplication training sessions, prayer invitations, and reaching out to communities through fellowship and door-to-door services. After baptism services, we gathered together to network because we have different cultures and countries. When we network, every new Christian can easily discover that he or she is not alone, and we give them opportunities to join a congregation of their choice because of many factors such as distance, language, etc.

Because of the weather and the challenges we face during the April 2023 gathering, we made available a room for us to gather, but it was small as well. Please keep us in prayer as we continue to train the new Christians while keeping the lost in mind.

We are very grateful that you took the time to read this update.

Amen Dunia. Thank You Lord and you all involved.
